About Nous
Jan Kat Lemoen started the way most good things do — around a table, talking too much, and wondering why nobody was recording it. Wagener and Marida are a brother and sister from Kimberley who got a mic and started sitting down with people worth listening to. No scripts, no sponsors, no pretending to agree when they don't.
The blog grew from there — their own thoughts plus a growing crew of writers and everyday South Africans who have something to say. If it makes you think or see something differently, it belongs here.
The Sister
Counsels teenagers at a school far too fancy for how funny she actually is. Overthinks everything, laughs at things she probably shouldn't, and somehow holds it all together with a baby on her hip who's basically her carbon copy. Don't let the theology degree fool you — she's far more human than holy.
The Brother
Would rather be at a dinner party than finishing what he started. Travels the world, dresses like he owns it, and drives like he does too — even when the bank disagrees. The kind of guy who topped his class but still submits everything at 11:59. Will skip the gym to help you move house. Every time.
